Review:
I loved the first book in this series Fraternizing. Alex is an alpha male that has a heart of gold and Cassie is a little girl lost trying to stand on her own.
In the second book Alex and Cassie have charges leveled against them for fraternizing. Alex's commanding officer First Sgt. O'Hara tries to have him stripped of his rank and court marshal him. O'Hara even tries to get Cassie to save herself by turning on Alex.
Their relationship hits more bumpy waters when Alex's family flips out about them getting married. Everything is too much for Cassie and while trying to get a little time to deal with their problems she tells Alex she can't marry him then. He flips out and calls everything off. Can the two of them make it through all the rough tides ahead of them?
I loved how this book tied everything together but getting to the end was a little tough at times. Alex's aggression and mental stability were off the charts and I started to not like him at one point. I loved how Cassie stood her ground against him and made him better himself. I don't think I could have handled this type of man. I would have left him not looked back.
CC Brown's writing keeps you engaged even if you want to throw your ereader against the wall a few times. It was very hard for me to put down.
I give it a solid 4 stars!

I love to write, even if it isn't what is conventional and makes everyone feel giddy inside. I usually pull from dreams, or ideas that just thrust themselves into my head. I have what some would describe as a dry sense of humor, and I think its conveyed in my writing. I like to think I am a kick ass chick, but I can also be sensitive. I'm learning to grow thick skin, and in this field, it is definitely needed!
I won't put anything out that I am not absolutely proud of, but like E.L. James said, "I can't own people's reactions to it." Thanks for reading my work... I do appreciate it!
